In what has become an annual event, children from the YMCA Kids Club, who are members of the Kiwanis Youth Choir, sang Christmas carols for members of the Erie Housing Authority staff at the Authority's Central Office, 606 Holland Street.

Led by HACE Board Chair Agnes Priscaro, they sang for Authority staffers on December 12.  Priscaro has directed the choir since 1992.

The children sing at  area senior centers, including two of the Authority’s buildings – Schmid Towers and Friendship Apartments. This was the 14th year in a row that the choir has sung for the Authority.

After caroling at the Central Office, the choir went to each floor of Schmid Towers to sing for the residents.

The choir is comprised of residents from age 12 to 14.

"They are very, very good," says HACE Executive Director John Horan. "We thank them for bringing the spirit of the holiday season to us and reminding us what that season is all about."
