Posted to the HACE Web site is a document that assesses compliance with federal standards regarding accessibility of the Authority's community facilities.
(Compliance with residential facilities standards has been ongoing for the past five years and will be completed later this year, when HACE finishes construction of 14 new units, bringing the new housing inventory to a total of 108 accessible units.)

The document is called: “UFAS Accessibility Assessment Report of Various Housing Authority Facilities, Erie, PA.”

“UFAS” stands for "Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards.”

The report was prepared by EMG, a Maryland-based building, environmental, and engineering assessment consulting firm.
