For the past 15 years, the Erie Housing Authority has provided free summer lunches to its youngsters at areas like this one at Agnes Priscaro Apartments, where as many as 30 children often play.
The Authority delivers a fresh lunch to young residents every day under a program sponsored by the federal government to ensure public housing children receive nutritious meals in the summertime.
The Authority and its partners serve summer lunches not only at Priscaro Apartments, but also at the John F. Kennedy Center, the YMCA Kids Clubs, and the Lake City and Bird Drive Developments.
The lunches are served Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
