Someone gave the Erie Housing Authority a zoo.  A zoo of stuffed animals.

In recognition of Surgical Technologist week, September 17-23, 2017, the UPMC Hamot Surgical Technologists held their 5th annual Teddy Bear/Stuffed Animal/Doll drive.

This was in conjunction with St James Lutheran Church in Fairview, PA.

The stuffed animals are donated to the Erie Police Department, the Housing Authority of the City of Erie, and to local fire departments.

They are distributed by the officers in our C.O.P.P.S. Program when they encounter young children who have been involved in accidents, or who have witnessed violence in their families or neighborhoods.

This year, 277 stuffed animals and dolls were collected to support this mission.
